What are your check-in and check-out times?

Check-in: 3pm to 7pm
Check-out: 11am
Our office is open 11am to 7pm daily.

Is the J. Patrick House pet friendly?

We currently do not allow pets in our facility, but our neighboring property, Cambria Pines Lodge, has pet-friendly lodging!

How close is Hearst Castle?

Hearst Castle is about ten miles (approximately ten to 15 minutes) north of us on Highway One.

Are Hearst Castle tickets for sale at J. Patrick House? What about discounts on tickets?

We do not sell tickets for Hearst Castle. As the State of California runs Hearst Castle, we are unable to offer discounts. Tickets can be purchased online at www.hearstcastle.org.

How close is the beach?

Moonstone Beach Drive is a little more than two miles away. It’s about a five-minute drive from the Lodge.

Do you have a taxi service?

There is one local taxi service, which can be reached at 805-927-4357.

Are there any wineries or tasting rooms close by?

There are seven wineries in Cambria and San Simeon, including Cutruzzola Vineyards and Stolo Family Vineyards. Check out the details at www.pacificcoastwinetrail.com. There are also two fun wine tasting shops in Cambria called Wine:Taste and Fermentations. If you’re up for a little drive, you can enjoy dozens of wineries and tasting rooms on Highway 46 within 30 minutes of J. Patrick House.

Do you have a pool?

The J. Patrick House does not have a pool, but our guests are welcome to the pool at the neighboring hotel, Cambria Pines Lodge. Just ask for a key from the front desk and walk, or drive over!

What are the hours for breakfast? Is breakfast included with our room?

Our breakfast is included with the cost of your room. Due to COVID-19, we are currently delivering breakfast to your room, 8:30-9am.

Can I request a specific room?

We have 7 unique rooms that can be individually requested through our central reservation phone line or directly through our website. Third party websites (Expedia, Booking.com and Airbnb) can not distinguish between the different rooms. If you prefer a particular room, please book directly with us online or by phone.
