“I really enjoyed my stay at the J Patrick house! The new owner, Linda Ennen was an amazing hostess, provided a very high level of customer service and she made sure that my stay was everything that I had expected! Not only was there a very fresh, hot breakfast, but also a lovely wine & nibbles hour (and they made my dinner reservations for me as well), and warm cookies left out for the guests for their return back to the Inn after dinner. They provided all kinds of information on things to do in the area and I had a great time antiquing the two large shops there. I would definitely stay there again and would refer Linda’s J Patrick House B&B Inn to all my friends!”
“We’ve stayed at the J. Patrick House 4 times now and everytime is absolutley perfect. The gourmet breakfast is to die for and the innkeepers are wonderful people. The whole atmosphere of the J. Patrick House is one of beauty, relaxation and romance. Perfect for honeymoons, romantic weekend getaways or even just relaxing with friends. I can’t recommend this B&B enough. It’s perfect.”
“We stayed here as a stop over on our drive up the PCH and visit at Hearst Castle. We received the most genuine welcome when we arrived and felt like we were visiting friends. We found that the B&B was purchased earlier in the month. The new owner and her friend have many plans to upgrade the structure and furnishings and have a lot of pride in their work.
We stayed in the Dublin room and found it perfect for our needs. Other rooms offer different sized beds and bath options. Delicious oatmeal reason cookies and milk were available before bed, and breakfast was delicious. Ensure you tell them of any dietary needs you have (milk preference, or vegetarian/no-pork preferences). I would definitely stay here again. “
“My husband and I stayed here one night as we drove between LA and SF.
We stayed in the Clare, which was nicely decorated and had plenty of space. I am not sure if the “perk” of having the downstairs living room to ourselves is really necessary, though, and would have preferred a cheaper rate than access to the room.
The stuffed French toast in the AM is divine!
Everything was clean and nicely put together. The milk and cookies at night were a nice tough, coo. I can’t remember the last time I had that.”
